The Rotary Foundation

Top five reasons to support The Rotary Foundation:

  • Fighting Hunger in Romania - Orphans and sick children have eggs, milk and meat because of the Foundation. Farmers are able to buy everything from animal feed to packaging materials with one stipulation - they must donate a portion of their products to children's hospitals, schools and orphanages.

  • Reducing child mortality through the use of Rotary Foundation Matching Grants. According to the World Health Organization, 1.8 million children die as a result of diarrhea every year. We can help stop this.

  • Promoting peace and conflict resolution. Rotary Peace Fellows work hard to help stop Civil War in their home lands by working with the United Nations Development Program in the Central African Republic.

  • Basic education and literacy programs.

  • Eradicating Polio from the face of the earth. Since the launch of the PolioPlus program, ending Polio has been a top priority. We are very close.

By giving $100 a year through the Every Rotarian Every Year program you can become a Sustaining Member. Challenge yourself to begin giving to The Rotary Foundation today. You will be saving lives somewhere in the world by doing so.

Donations to The Rotary Foundation are due Mar. 31 to count for this Rotary year. Our goal is $9,500. We are currently at $8,225. 78% of club members have given. If you have not given yet, please consider giving at least something today.
